Panagbenga Festival

Baguio, Philippines

The Panagbenga Festival also known as Baguio Flower Festival, meaning a season of the flower blooming. This event is celebrated annually in February. In 1990, an earthquake devasted the people in the city of Baguio, Philippines. In February 1995, they created this event to help the Baguio forget the shock in 1990 which cause distressed to many people in the city. Furthermore, the purpose of this festival is to bring honor and respect to the city floral richness. I want to witness this exciting and fun event and immerse myself from a cultural performance such as florals floats and native dances.
