Trying unique local cuisine is such a great method to explore when visiting the country. It merely creates a bond between one person to another just by trying out the local food. The Philippines consists of over 7000 islands which makes it rich in natural resources and agriculture. Filipino loves planting and through that local tends to have abundance source when harvesting such as fresh seafood, tropical fruits, root crops, vegetables and many more. Through the various natural resources, they tend to create food that is unique with different texture and flavors. One thing that is very famous not only in the Philippines but internationally is the Chicken Adobo. According to Unilever Food Solutions, "Chicken Adobo has been featured in an international cookbook project in 2015." Many foreigners were attracted to try this authentic dish which Filipino are proud to share. Another food that is only in the Philippines is the Lechon is a Spanish word and known as Roasted Suckling Pig that is very crispy outside and juicy inside. Lechon is served in a special gathering such as birthdays, weddings, and big parties.

Many people from different countries travel to the Philippines to try the authenticity and unique flavors it has. Philippine cuisine reflects the diverse culture throughout the islands. In the northern part, this is where the pork is famous which traveler can try the sisig and lechon. The ingredients of Sisig are pork made with pork face, ears, cheeks and snout. Where in the southern region, it is where the local dishes are found these are seafood, beef, and goat as their main ingredients. Furthermore, Philippine cuisine has is influence from China, Spain, and America that brought the uniqueness of the cooking. In which the taste of the food is similar to different countries.
